When her younger brother's life is threatened, Ariana agrees to marry Damien Blackwood—the man who hates her family.

She believes she is sacrificing herself to save her brother.

She doesn't realize that the marriage will eventually change everything she believes about her family, Damien, and herself.

Her greatest strength is her ability to keep going even when she is terrified.

She may cry.

She may break down.

She may be afraid.

But she doesn't stay down.

At the beginning:
